Program Associate – National Crime Victim Bar Association – Washington, DC

The National Crime Victim Bar Association seeks a full-time, highly-organized individual to serve as program coordinator in a dynamic, collaborative nonprofit environment. Candidate should have 1-3 years experience and proficiency in Word. Excel, PowerPoint and database work. Candidate should have strong writing and proofreading skills, excellent customer service skills and be detail-oriented. Some travel required.

Responsibilities include:

Manage and solicit membership for the National Crime Victim Bar Association and serve as liaison to 300 attorney members across the country.
Maintain the listserv and various membership databases.
Manage Bar Association website content.
Prepare reference materials for annual conference and coordinate multistate continuing legal education accreditation.
Coordinate, market, and travel to training seminars and conferences to administer onsite support.
Provide administrative support to Bar Association director and National Center executive director
Respond to general inquiries.
Facilitate communication between executive director and partnering organizations.
Schedule all meetings and events, draft correspondences and press releases, handle travel logistics and calendar.
Take minutes at advisory board and board of director meetings.
Recruit and supervise interns responsible for production of materials, mailings, and research projects.

Salary Range: $35,000 -$40,000
