Outreach / Direct Services Manager (Framingham) – RIA House Inc – Framingham, MA

Position Description

The regional Manager will be primarily responsible for outreach and the development of specialized services across the MetroWest region, including to lead a weekly open peer support group for women coming out of experiences in the sex industry, including strip club, pornography, escort agency, prostitution, trafficking, or other related circumstance. The Manager will also provide intensive case management with a rolling caseload of between 5-10 women.

Hours and Benefits

This is a full time position, up to 40 hours a week, with some weekend and evening hours required. It is partially grant funded for up to three years based on performance, with a 60-day probationary period and biannual reviews. Two weeks paid personal time, supervision with a licensed clinician, training and education opportunities available, to include possible graduate studies. Salary is competitive.

Location

Group will be located in downtown Framingham with travel required throughout the MetroWest region.

Essential Job Functions

Provide leadership, advocacy, and mentorship with adult women who have experiences in the commercial sex industry, such as strip club, pornography, escort agency, prostitution, sex trafficking etc.
Lead and facilitate a weekly, drop-in group.
Provide intensive case management with women participants.
Participate in the planning, curriculum development, and evaluation of services.
Develop meaningful service relationships with local organizations and agencies.
Attend weekly supervision, monthly team and other meetings, as required.
Work closely with the RIA House staff, interns, consultants, Board and Advisory Team.

Skills and Experience

Commitment and interest in the process of surviving and healing from experiences in the sex industry, including sexual exploitation and sex trafficking, and helping others to do so as well.
Flexible and positive attitude when working with others of all backgrounds and experiences.
Demonstrated experience in how to navigate and qualify for state and other local services, such as addiction recovery, housing, medical/dental/behavioral etc.
Willingness and serious interest to be involved in a growing nonprofit organization.

Requirements

A compassionate understanding of how to move one’s life forward after experiences in the sex industry, sexual exploitation and/or sex trafficking, including such venues as escort agency, prostitution, stripping, and pornography.
Has personal knowledge of recovering from a life changing, traumatic experience.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, some college preferred.
A current driver’s license and access to a car.
Bilingual language skills preferred.
