The SF Housing Action Coalition (SFHAC) advocates for well-designed, well-located housing for ALL levels of affordability in San Francisco. SFHAC is a small, but mighty, civic engagement non-profit, with a 16-year history. Over 300 business and individual members work together to increase the City’s supply of housing. We believe more housing means more choices and better solutions for all San Franciscans now and in the future.
The SF Housing Action Coalition is hiring a full-time Community Organizer to identify and motivate San Franciscans to join the housing conversation. By amplifying individual voices in support of building new housing, we can change the dialogue to address the housing affordability crisis.

This is a terrific opportunity for a candidate with stellar interpersonal and communication skills, keen interest in neighborhood- and coalition-building and a strong belief in building new housing – at all levels of affordability – in San Francisco. The Community Organizer should have a good understanding of San Francisco politics and how to best leverage neighborhood interest into political action and advocacy.
