New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity is hiring! We’re looking for a construction supervisor to oversee the work of passionate volunteers as well as our talented sub-contractors. You’re experienced in single family home construction and understand the difference between rehab and re-bar. You thrive on a challenge and are comfortable taking initiative, solving problems and making sure the job gets done right. You’ve got patience, because that’s always needed when wrangling volunteers, and proven construction expertise so you can lead without browbeating. We’re a thriving nonprofit that’s been leading the way in affordable housing for New Orleans for over 30 years- in fact, we’ve built over 400 houses since Katrina, making us one of the biggest home builders in the area.
