Graduate Clinical Psychology Faculty – Notre Dame de Namur University – Belmont

Description: The graduate Clinical Psychology Department at Notre Dame de Namur University, in Belmont, CA, seeks faculty for courses in the Master of Science in Clinical Psychology Program. Students are training to become mental health professionals including licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Clinical Counselors.

Seeking individuals to join a clinically diverse faculty that values clinical training to teach clinically-oriented courses such as Clinical Practicum, Clinical Case Seminar, Psychopathology, Group Psychotherapy, and Family Systems & Relational Psychotherapy.

Seeking faculty member to serve as Director of Clinical Training, including coordinating annual practicum/intern sites and fair; and facilitating clinical training and opportunities.

Qualifications (necessary):
– Ph.D. in Psychology, from a regionally-accredited university department of psychology.
– Licensed psychotherapist. Clinical Psychologist with current, CA license preferred.
– Mission oriented, flexible professional and team member with a student-centered approach.

Other qualifications (highly desirable):
– Demonstrated experience teaching a range of graduate Clinical Psychology courses. Experience working with diverse student population and mentoring traditional and non-traditional age students.
– Compatibility with the Department and NDNU Mission and philosophy.
– Integrative clinical perspective and diverse clinical experience.
– Community involvement and community connections that support NDNU students and their growth.
– Clinical Practicum experience, an understanding of BBS requirements and regulations, and knowledge of the process of acquiring practicum hours.
