Social Media Coordinator – The Amanda Foundation – Beverly Hills, CA

The Amanda Foundation is looking for a dynamic, social media savvy, go-getting, multi-tasker to join our growing family. Must love dogs/cats is an understatement as The Amanda Foundation is one of the oldest and most well respected non-profit animal shelters in Beverly Hills. Our organization is complete with a veterinary clinic and California’s most successful free spay/neuter mobile program.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves all things social media and can help us get the word out about our amazing organization. Everyone here at Amanda Foundation wears multiple hats, so please enjoy multi-tasking and rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty. There’s some administrative work that accompanies this role, so organization and thoroughness is a must. This is a full-time position that comes with more than just a paycheck. You will be saving animals’ lives and spreading our message that love never strays.

Job Duties:

Develop and manage engaging content for all social media outputs such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn
Execute and monitor social media brand initiatives, campaigns and real-time conversations within the social space
Blog posting and content distribution to all relevant social media platforms
Monitor and interact in social media communities
Research and engage in opportunities to expand our online presence
Manage company newsletter and mailing lists
Measure the impact of social media programs. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns
Assist Amanda Foundation President with daily administrative duties including scheduling appointments and managing the calendar
Play an integral part in managing and running company events with the President and staff

Skills / Requirements:

Love of all things social media – super current on trends, out-of-the-box thinker, excellent writer
Experience creating and posting creative content to all social media channels
Email and social media marketing campaign management
Website experience desired, but not required
Highly organized and detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Team player who is flexible and willing to step into additional roles/duties as needed
Solid administrative skills
No task too small or too big attitude. We don’t say “it’s not my job” around here
Self-starter with the motivation to work independently and remain focused
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as social media management platforms
Ability to collect, analyze and report critical campaign performance data
Must love animals and have a desire to make a difference in the world
