DESCRIPTION
615 Staff Union is an organization Representing a vibrant group of professionals , whose focus on organizing workers who are fighting for a living wage, respect, and a voice in their future. We seek a Consultant: Data Analytics and Strategy to oversee the investigation and strategic use of data in effectively supporting the Staff Union mission and goal of reaching a successful contract negotiation.

The consultant would be responsible for working with the bargaining team
to execute and lead the search effort, data analysis, training of the committee members and serve as a strategist and advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
· Research and analyze information relevant to the upcoming 615 Staff Union Contract negations.
· Calculate the cost of all union and management proposals.
· Proficient on economic data analysis, including but not limited to Labor Market, cost of living statistic.
· Familiar/knowledgeable of Health Insurance coverage
· Proficient on Excel (any other data analysis program) and with mathematical operations such as averages and percentages.
· Train the Bargaining committee to use data finding and data tools as they prepare negotiation.
· Be available to advise bargaining committee during negotiations on how to use the information effectively.
The ideal candidate should be able to work quickly on short notice while keeping work product in an organized fashion that is easily understandable.

Requirements:
· 5 to 10 + years of experience, researcher, data analysis or related topics.
· Solid technology skills, including high level vision and understanding of data strategy;
· Strong communication and written skills.
· Experience with, and commitment to, social justice issues a plus.
