Editorial Assistant – Altruist Partners – Seattle, WA

One of the nation’s most innovative and successful non-profit management consultants seeks an editorial colleague for a groundbreaking, historically significant work on how to transform struggling non-profits into high-performing, scalable social enterprises.

The book will combine the best for-and non-profit tools and methodologies into one unified whole, effectively collapsing a destructive, 350-year-old methodological and cultural dichotomy, effectively curing what observers call “the schizophrenia of capitalism.”

Sounds ambitious, yes?

Indeed. But this ambition is well founded. The intellectual underpinning for the work—the specific tools and methodologies—is battle proven, having been developed over a decade of intensive work with some of the leading non-profits in the US. Results include dozens of successful transformations in the health, human services, arts, education and environmental fields. The work has reformed multi-billion dollar markets, engaged the world’s largest companies, and led to client growth rates of 100% and more.

This book aims to introduce the entire methodology, just recently completed. The hard work is already done: the writing is 95% complete. It just needs to be pulled together into a cumulative, sequential whole.

The work will take 3 to 6 months—with very good pay and completely flexible hours.
