Coordinated Entry Supervisor – Cocoon House – Everett, WA

Job Purpose/Summary

The Coordinated Entry Supervisor will support the implementation and oversee the operation of Coordinated Entry for Youth and Young Adults in Snohomish County. These activities include community and street outreach, case management and service referrals, as well as representing the program through community partnerships and collaborations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Director of Outreach to create a sustainable regional CE structure

• Oversee and perform proper collection of data, documentation, and compliance with reporting requirements. Ensure all

data entry requirements are met.

• Create effective measurement tools and assessments to monitor and analyze progress toward program outcomes

• Proactively address structural challenges and make recommendations to Outreach Director

• Screen, interview, hire, and Navigators assigned to the Coordinated Entry Program.

• Responsible for supervision and management of all Navigators, including weekly supervision meetings, annual performance reviews and daily staff performance.

• Be available to staff for emergency consultation. Respond appropriately.

• Work in partnership with the National Safe Place Coordinator to promote the Safe Place program around the community.

• Collaborate and network with law enforcement, businesses, resource centers, schools, churches, and detention centers.

• The Coordinated Entry Supervisor assists with linkage to needed services and institutions and advocates on behalf of youth. This includes, but is not limited to: crisis intervention, meeting emergent needs, providing information and advocacy, completing and/or coordinating needs assessments, brokering for services and providing follow up with youth.

• Participate in afterhours phone rotation for CE/Safeplace

• Able to step in for all direct service Outreach program staff as needed or directed

Qualifications

BA degree or higher preferred in a social science or equivalent field, and, one year working directly with at-risk-youth (or) any combination of experience and education.
Experience or competency in program development
Strong and effective communication skills; proficient in crisis intervention/de-escalation.
Possess a valid Washington State driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation.
Clear background check through DSHS
Possess knowledge of street culture and adolescent development
1+ years of supervisory experience highly desirable
Bi-lingual highly desirable
