Digital Marketing Associate – New York – University of Massachusetts

Purpose of the Job:
A passionate and creative thinker who, under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager for Web and Email, makes our digital campaigns happen. On any given day this position may be designing emails destined for hundreds of thousands of inboxes, building a landing page seen around the world, or identifying trends to help us grow our digital program.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Builds emails in our in-house blast email system
Manages the calendar for email communications
Designs email assets as necessary, including photo imagery
Strategizes with the team on audience segmentation and constructs those groups
Find trends in email reports to inform future decisions
Creates landing pages within our Drupal CMS and Shorthand
Optimizes our Google Analytics account and produces reports
Identifies powerful, response-driving photo imagery
Develops a mastery of the digital program’s files and record keeping

Required Skills:
Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Responsible, driven and able to work independently, with guidance from staff members
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience working in databases and CRMs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Experience working with blast email systems, preferably ClickDimensions or similar
Strong Google Analytics skills
Obsessive attention to detail, especially in proofreading
Fantastic communications skills, both written and oral
Landing page, email, and UI experience
