Creative Services Manager – Goddard House in Brookline Assisted Living – Brookline, MA

The role of the Creative Services Manager is to manage administrative activities related to the Community Partnership Development Office. The Manager must also be able to work independently to also accomplish tasks and projects for Goddard House operations as needed. The position reports directly to the Community Partnership Director. The position includes but is not limited to the tasks listed below.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Administrative/Operations:

Provide administrative support for Community Partnership Office.

Manage, develop and maintain Abila Fundraising 50 or other database for mailings and recording related to donations/gifts to Goddard House.

Maintain and build Constant Contact database.

Research foundations as needed for grant funding.

Manage all administrative support and production of annual appeals.

Manage print orders with outside vendors.

Format final version of monthly financial tracking reports for management company.

Community Outreach/Marketing:

Editor for content, production, and distribution of monthly Goddard House newsletter and e-newsletter. Design newsletter templates.

Produce mass mailings; both electronically and in printed form.

Design and produce e-notices, postcards and flyers for in-house events updates and special community programs.

Develop, update and manage content on Goddard House website.

Maintain database of photographs.

Increase our social networking presence on Facebook, Linked In and Twitter.

Develop community/media outreach contacts lists. Correspond and distribute event information and submissions to media and community contacts including public service announcements, photos and flyers.

Collaborate on sponsorship ads, brochures and marketing collaterals as needed.

Manage and update Facebook page and other social media accounts.

Write about Goddard House for in-house and community purposes.

Attend networking functions to expand outreach efforts.

Serve as staff photographer as needed (intermediate photography skills).

Meet weekly with Marketing Team to ensure successful functions/ marketing efforts.

Special Projects:

Assist with the preparation and execution of in-house events and community-wide programs as needed.

Plan, develop and lead occasional group and individual resident programs.

Qualifications:

College degree preferred, but not required.

Candidate should be highly organized and have excellent communication, writing and editing skills.

Experience in graphic design.

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher or In-Design, Facebook, Constant Contact, Photoshop and with basic HTML.

Experience with mass mailing production and with working on a mail merge.

Experience with or ability to learn Abila Fundraising 50 database software.

Familiarity with Brookline, Jamaica Plain and surrounding communities is a plus.
