Progressive solar power company in NYC area seeking to hire a financial analyst to support development of projects. We are looking for a motivated individual interested in the solar power industry, with an emphasis on project finance and project development. The position will focus on commercial, residential, and community solar projects.

Qualities required for this position include: strong financial and written skills; background in economic and/or financial analysis; and, ability to make presentations to diverse audiences, including but not limited to community groups, building owners and investors. Experience required in excel and financial modeling. Past experience working with community organizations or political campaigns or unions is a plus.

Starting salary will be commensurate with relevant experience, ranging from $38,000 to $45,000. There is a six month training program. The position will report directly to the Company’s Managing Director.

The company is located on the Bronx/southern Westchester border, with easy access from the NYC Subway (Line 2) and Metro-North trains (Mt. Vernon West).
