Business Operations Manager – Net Impact (Central Office) – San Francisco, CA

About the Position

The Business Operations Manager will manage office systems and play an important organization-wide role in analyzing and reporting on critical information. The role involves working to deeply understand Net Impact’s CRM (Salesforce) and using that data to find patterns, track progress, and report on goals. Reporting to the Associate Director of Talent and Operations, the Manager will work with various internal stakeholders to support the organization’s current CRM needs, evolve the CRM to enable our teams to achieve their ambitious goals and manage office systems to ensure that office-wide operations are running efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven systems thinker who has a passion for understanding the data generated by, and driving, our business processes.

This is a great opportunity for someone with data analysis skills that wants to work for an organization at the forefront of promoting socially responsible business. This role in particular will be able to gain valuable experience in the areas of nonprofit planning, metrics, and program design and implementation.

Specific responsibilities include:

CRM

Work with key stakeholders on CRM design, execution, and support for all business areas
Provide analytics support, including the creation and management of reports and dashboards within and outside of the CRM
Respond to external and internal user issues, monitor activities to proactively identify areas for improvement to ensure user adoption and data reliability
Act as key CRM expert and organizational resource for trainings and general support

Office Systems

Manage all office operations, including facilities management. Act as primary contact and liaison between the office and building management as well as other outside vendors
Oversee IT activities, coordinating computer maintenance with third party service provider. Purchase and set up computer equipment
Manage existing office space planning, technology needs and reconfigurations
Identify opportunities to streamline and integrate office systems, including knowledge capture, within and outside of the CRM structure

Review operating practices and recommend and implement improvements where necessary

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and 2-3 years of related professional experience
Demonstrated CRM or relational database querying experience
Demonstrated experience designing executive level reports and analytics that tell a story and drive actionable, data driven decisions
Proven ability to build, merge, and work with large data sets using Excel or other statistical analysis software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extremely organized and detail oriented
